　当労協国ツー理事長富田秀信氏が２０年に亘って介護を続けた妻千代野さんの急死を悼んで、長年の厚誼をいただいていた、ベトナムのホーチミン戦争証跡博物館のVan館長から哀悼の意が伝えられましたのので紹介します。

親愛なる富田様

まずは、哀悼の意を表します。
I am so saddened by the news of your wife’s passing.
私は、富田様の奥様のご逝去の話を聞き、大変悲しんでいます。
I have just returned from Okinawa and my father-in-law has stayed in the hospital for emergency treatment.
私は沖縄から戻ってきたばかりで、義理の父の緊急治療のため、病院にいました。
I hope you and your family will be in good state of health and mind and get through these hard times.
富田様とご家族が、健康でこの困難を乗り越えられますように祈っています。
May her soul rest in peace.
